{"id":6230,"date":"2025-07-11T09:18:55","date_gmt":"2025-07-11T09:18:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/regeneraenergy.es\/?post_type=proyecto&#038;p=6230"},"modified":"2026-02-13T09:01:46","modified_gmt":"2026-02-13T09:01:46","slug":"green-hy-cell","status":"publish","type":"proyecto","link":"https:\/\/regeneraenergy.es\/en\/proyecto\/green-hy-cell\/","title":{"rendered":"Green HY CELL"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"mt-5\">The Green HY CELL project for new prototypes of green hydrogen generation systems to boost the competitiveness of Spanish industry is one of the two projects awarded to REGENERA under the CDTI Misiones Ciencia en Innovaci\u00f3n 2022 call for proposals.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #8cbd31;\">What is green hydrogen generation?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Este proyecto relacionado con la generaci\u00f3n de hidr\u00f3geno verde, que se refiere a la producci\u00f3n de hidr\u00f3geno a partir de fuentes renovables de energ\u00eda, como la energ\u00eda solar o e\u00f3lica. La producci\u00f3n de hidr\u00f3geno verde es considerada una alternativa m\u00e1s sostenible al hidr\u00f3geno producido a partir de combustibles f\u00f3siles, ya que no genera emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero. En el contexto del proyecto Green HY CELL, se est\u00e1n desarrollando prototipos de sistemas de generaci\u00f3n de hidr\u00f3geno verde. El objetivo es mejorar la eficiencia y la viabilidad t\u00e9cnica y econ\u00f3mica de estos sistemas para su aplicaci\u00f3n a escala comercial. Es importante mencionar, que la tecnolog\u00eda para la producci\u00f3n de hidr\u00f3geno verde a\u00fan se encuentra en una etapa de desarrollo. Pero tiene el potencial de jugar un papel importante en la transici\u00f3n a una econom\u00eda m\u00e1s sostenible y de bajas emisiones de carbono.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #8cbd31;\">Detalles del proyecto Green HY CELL<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Green Hy Cell es el Proyecto de Desarrollo de nuevos prototipos de sistemas de generaci\u00f3n de hidr\u00f3geno verde para potenciar la competitividad de la industria espa\u00f1ola. Tiene como objetivo la investigaci\u00f3n en un nuevo dise\u00f1o conceptual de electrolizadores de membrana polim\u00e9rica (PEMWE), usando materiales alternativos a los utilizados en los electrolizadores PEM actuales. Para ello se dise\u00f1ar\u00e1n electrodos (\u00e1nodo y c\u00e1todo) con un bajo contenido en metales nobles (Ir y Pt, respectivamente). As\u00ed como, capas porosas de transporte (PTL) de fieltro de fibras de titanio para el \u00e1nodo, y capas de difusi\u00f3n de gases (GDLs) de naturaleza carbonosa para el c\u00e1todo, adem\u00e1s de placas bipolares (BP) de aceros inoxidables con recubrimientos basados en metales no nobles (o cr\u00edticos). Se ensamblar\u00e1 un electrolizador PEM (0,5-1 kW) con los materiales optimizados. Con el objetivo de optimizar la eficiencia y sostenibilidad de este tipo de sistema de generaci\u00f3n de hidr\u00f3geno. Se realizar\u00e1 un profundo estudio en la validaci\u00f3n y escalabilidad de los mismos en entorno real, con el objetivo de obtener combustible sostenible a partir de fuentes renovables. Consiguiendo, no solo un aumento de la eficacia, sino tambi\u00e9n una reducci\u00f3n de costes, emisiones y dependencia de materiales estrat\u00e9gicos. As\u00ed podemos aumentar la competitividad de las empresas constituyentes del consorcio. Para completar el c\u00edrculo, se realizar\u00e1 un estudio de investigaci\u00f3n industrial. El objetivo es el de establecer estrategias de recuperaci\u00f3n de materiales estrat\u00e9gicos (Ir y Pt, principalmente), con el objetivo de su posible uso \u201csecond life\u201d en los sistemas de electr\u00f3lisis. Todo con el fin de reducir a \u201c0\u201d la dependencia en este tipo de materiales en los sistemas generadores de hidr\u00f3geno.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #8cbd31;\">Objectives of the Green HY CELL Development Project<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>El desarrollo de los objetivos planteados se llevar\u00e1 a cabo a trav\u00e9s de seis actividades t\u00e9cnicas diferenciadas. La fecha de inicio est\u00e1 prevista para el 01 de octubre de 2022, con una duraci\u00f3n estimada de 27 meses, hasta el 31 de diciembre de 2024. El presupuesto del proyecto Green Hy Cell asciende a un total de 2.539.143 euros para las tres anualidades del proyecto. El consorcio multidisciplinar que conforma el proyecto Green Hy Cell, est\u00e1 formado por la colaboraci\u00f3n directa de cinco empresas y cuatro grupos de investigaci\u00f3n de tres OPIs diferentes. Fomentando la colaboraci\u00f3n entre las mismas a nivel nacional. Generando innovaci\u00f3n y producci\u00f3n de nuevos productos y servicios de gran inter\u00e9s en el sector, asentando las bases de nuevas y efectivas colaboraciones entre las mismas en el futuro.
