INNOTWIN

The INNOTWIN project is framed within the framework of mission 3: Promoting Spanish industry in the industrial revolution of the 21st century and is based on industrial research in different technological areas for their incorporation in the field of Digital Twins (hereinafter referred to as DGS). The lines of research proposed by the project will make it possible to apply innovative technologies (Artificial Intelligence, Big Data or Internet of Things) and integrate them efficiently in the development of a new concept of data space for enabling in DGS, having a transversal impact and increasing the sustainability of a multitude of productive sectors while generating greater competitiveness and efficiency in their processes.

DGs are dynamic virtual replicas of products, devices or processes that, with the help of technological enablers such as Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and IoT, make it possible to understand and model their real behaviour in order to monitor, diagnose, predict, simulate and optimise their operation.

The INNOTWIN project will rely on data spaces as an abstraction in data lifecycle management, algorithms and predictive modelling that will enable the construction of digital twins and their replication in other operational scenarios.

In addition, the INNOTWIN concept will be the result of research into new technologies for incorporation into data spaces, including technologies such as IoT, Artificial Intelligence and Big Data, bringing numerous benefits at both the production and operational level, which will generate a cross-cutting cost reduction in all industrial stages, from production to marketing.

Subsidised by the CDTI (Science and Innovation Missions Programme) and supported by the Ministry of Science and Innovation. Next Generation EU funds.
