Agro2Circular

The main objective of the Agro2Circular (A2C) project is the implementation of the first territorial systemic solution for the upcycling of the most relevant waste from the agri-food sector (fruits and vegetables and plastic multilayer) into high added value products, driven by a digital tool and built on a systemic approach with a high replicable/scalable potential. Through this solution, A2C will address important industrial, economic and social challenges in the agri-food sector ( TRL 4/5 - TRL 8/9).

The 48-month project will develop, validate and demonstrate an operational interface with augmented intelligence that monitors the entire life cycle of building renovation within the context of smart building and will include multidisciplinary technology and innovation in the field of construction, digitalisation, energy, etc. Project funded under the European framework programme HORIZONTE 2020.

REGENERA's role is to guarantee the energy efficiency of all the processes involved in A2C. Energy optimisation + RES-E.

The project has a total budget of €16,846,032.50, of which REGENERA has €462,500.00, together with a consortium of 41 partners, and its duration will be from October 2021 to September 2024.
